Christmas Giving

The Advent season is one of generosity. As Christians, we give to others because God gave us the ultimate gift, His Son, Jesus! If you're looking for a recommendation on where to give this holiday, consider giving through Oakwood to For the Children/Royal Family Kids Camp and Global Fingerprints.
Now - Dec. 31
Each summer, a group of generous volunteers hosts a camp that creates positive memories for children ages 7-11 who have suffered relational trauma, neglect, abuse, abandonment, or are in out-of-home care. Royal Family KIDS® Camp is a program of For The Children™. While the camp is free to the children, it takes a lot of finances and volunteer support to host the camp. Oakwood is raising money to pay for the rental costs of the camp facility.
Oakwood Global Partner Heather Hall is the Congo Coordinator serving children in the Congo. There they are starting to build a Secondary School called New Horizon School. The money raised through Oakwood will support building a classroom in the school.
How to Give
- Online | Click here to give online. Be sure to select "Christmas Giving" in the Fund drop down.
- Cash | Cash donations can be made at the Oakwood office or be placed in an envelope and put in an offering box. Please make sure the envelope is labeled "Christmas Giving."
- Check | Please write "Christmas Giving" in the check memo line and place it in the offering box or drop it off at the Oakwood office.
