Oakwood recently received a one-time gift of $160,000, about half of Oakwood's remaining mortgage. After much prayer and consideration, the elders decided to offer a match incentive to pay off the rest of our mortgage.
The 90-day Mortgage Match campaign ended on May 17. Oakwood exceeded the giving goal! Funding received above the Mortgage Match will be used on much-needed capital improvements at Oakwood.
By paying off the mortgage, Oakwood can designate more funding to ministry and have more flexibility in budgeting.
Oakwood can begin saving for the many capital improvement projects that are needed to care for our aging facility.
Oakwood can glorify God by stewarding this surprise gift well, taking one act and multiplying it.
As of May 18, Oakwood has received $280,910.46 toward the Mortgage Match. With the match, that's a grand total of $440,910.46.
