We Women, the name of our women's ministry, offers resources to deepen your relationship with God and with sisters in Christ! We believe that God's Word, prayer and intentional community cause life transformation so that we can become the women God made us to be and live a lifestyle that stands out to others. As we draw nearer to God and to one another, we will be equipped to follow Him as disciples who Love God, Love Others and Make Disciples. Find us on Facebook.

Gather brings women together around shared interests (like hiking, crafting, movies or food) with the purpose of deepening friendships and making new ones! Women generate small-scale events, which are meant to be natural and spontaneous opportunities for gathering. Invite friends from outside Oakwood to be a part!
How it works:
- Think of an activity you like to do or an event you'd like to attend that others could join you in doing.
- Post the description in the Gather Facebook group* to invite others (post in the discussion section, maybe with a relevant photo).
- Connect with those who can come and share details.
- Meet up and have fun!
*You'll notice that we have a few "guidelines" on the group page. Please help us make this a comfortable place for all!
Just Among Moms
Just Among Moms (JAM) is a welcoming place where moms can connect with one another and share their lives. If you're looking to be encouraged in your parenting as well as your spiritual walk, this is the place for you! Each week, we explore positive, practical ways for you to become the mom God wants you to be.
JAM meets Wednesday nights from 6:30-8 p.m. or Thursdays from 9-10:30 a.m.
If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Hayden.
Group Bible studies are a great way to connect with women and with God through His Word! We coordinate women’s groups to begin at regular intervals throughout the school year. During the summer, we offer studies as well as [un]studies—groups that spend time in God’s Word while enjoying community together, doing things like walking, crafting, biking, etc.
