This week is our last week of Bible Cookies but not the last week of WNC! Be sure to come back next week for our annual Operation Christmas Child Packing Party!
Our Bible Cookie is a sandwich cookie filled with gooey cream filling. Imagine it was the other way around – what a mess! Whenever you eat one of these cookies, think of the story of the foolish man who built his house on a soft foundation. The parable of the two builders shows us we need to build our lives on the firm foundation of Jesus.

Rebeca and Jacob tricking Isaac into giving Jacob the birth-right can teach kids so much. It shows us that God is still in control of everything and God’s covenant with Abraham continued with the next generation. Have you ever tried to take control of something?
I encourage you to learn this unit's memory verse with your child. There are two versions; one for PK-1st graders and one for 2nd-5th graders.

- This will be during regular WNC but is open to all kids K-5th.
- Saturday, Dec. 14 | 3 - 6 p.m. | Reverse Caroling
- Connect with Ashley if your child would like to sing at this event. Kids will have a 75-minute “shift” and will be singing Jingle Bells and Oh What a Glorius Night. All parents are encouraged to join us, but kids under 2nd grade need to have a parent stay with them during the event.
