We're back! And this month we're journeying through the Easter story. This week, we'll review when Jesus entered Jerusalem. We'll look at Matthew 21 and John 12 to piece together the day that began Christ's last week.
Sunday Programming | April 6
This Sunday our Easter lessons begin with Jesus' triumphal entry. The people welcomed Jesus as King, but they did not recognize Him as their Savior. Jesus calls all people to trust in Him as Savior and Lord. When we do, we will be saved from sin and death.
Easter Egging
- Take an Egging Kit (March 30-April 16) from the Kids Ministry desk
- Pray about who you want to egg (invite)
- Go to their home and hide the plastic eggs around their yard and post the included sign on their door.
- Share a picture and get an "EGG-CELENT" prize at the Kids Ministry desk
Offering Update
The offering from Kid Ministry will go toward a new classroom for kids in Congo through our Global Partner, Global Fingerprints. Our goal is $390. We chose this number because it's $39/month to sponsor a child at the school! (Learn more about the sponsorship opportunity here.)
On Sunday, March 30, we collected $34.55 for a total of $345.77 received toward our goal!
The Gospel and Baptism for Kids
A few days left to register! If you have a child interested in baptism, make plans to join the Gospel and Baptism for Kids class on April 6 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Caleb will discuss with families how baptism is an expression of the gospel. While this class is ideal for parents and 3rd-5th graders, other ages are welcome. RSVP here.
