Kids: Week of June 10, 2024

Sunday June 16 

Kids will continue learning Isaiah 25:1 all month long. Check out the songs on the Family Life Facebook page to help your child learn this verse. There is a preschool song and one for K-5th graders (but really both songs are for everyone). 

In Acts 24-26 Paul was sent to Rome. God chose Paul to take the gospel to Gentiles, kings, and the Israelites. Paul met with people over and over again to tell the good news about Jesus. He wanted everyone to believe that Jesus is Lord. Because Jesus has the power to save people from sin, Paul was willing to do whatever it took to share the gospel.

Camp Scuba on July 31 needs 8-10 more adults to assist other leaders in small groups and in the specials. Middle and high school students can also apply to be a CIT.

More About Ashley

Ashley is often on the go! She’s a mom to two busy kids and a high energy dog, she volunteers with her kids’ Parent Teacher Organization, and she enjoys hosting family dinners on Sundays. While the quiet at her family’s cabin draws her to northern Wisconsin often, she likes to travel and see God’s creation with her husband and kiddos. In her spare time (what’s that?!), Ashley enjoys baking and cake decorating, and learning new photography skills. Of course, a good cup of coffee fuels all of this activity and fun!
