Wednesday Night Community
This month we're journeying through the Easter story. This week, we'll review the Last Supper. We'll read John 13 with a focus on Jesus' heart as He washes the disciple's feet.
Sunday Programming | April 13
Kids Ministry is celebrating Easter this Palm Sunday! Be sure to arrive a little early so kids can line up to wave palm branches during the adult worship service. Then, kids will do activities that show them how God's plan was always to send Jesus to die for the sins of the world. Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose on the third day. All who place their faith in Him will receive forgiveness and eternal life.
Easter Egging
- Take an Egging Kit (March 30-April 16) from the Kids Ministry desk
- Pray about who you want to egg (invite)
- Go to their home and hide the plastic eggs around their yard and post the included sign on their door.
- Share a picture and get an "EGG-CELENT" prize at the Kids Ministry desk
True North Kids Summer Day Camp
Registration is now open for Oakwood's "True North" Kids Summer Day Camp! Back this year are the half-day preschool option and the opportunity to bring a non-Oakwood friend for free! Kids will spend a fun day learning how to trust Jesus in a wild world.
