6th - 8th grade: Week of Dec 13, 2021

by Myles Hanson on December 14, 2021

Hey everyone!

DEC 15 | 6:30-8 PM

This week is our last week of programming for 2021. We'll be meeting Wednesday night to end our discussion in Philippians 2. We've been looking at the tough commands from Paul to have the same attitude as Jesus, to be humble and put others ahead of ourselves, and to show the results of salvation in our everyday life. What a tough chapter of commands! This week we get some big encouragement to shine like stars, a beautiful word picture for us to imagine and strive for. Ask your student how your family can be a constellation in your neighborhood!

DEC 19 | 9-10 AM

Sunday morning we'll be looking at how Jesus became human to relate to us! There's lots of reasons why Jesus came down earth, but we have a great privilege to experience God with skin on and know that Jesus understands us and what we go through. We'll have conversation around what it means to connect with others like Jesus did. It'll be a great way to get our intentions aligned over Christmas as we spend time with family and friends!

HOLIDAY BREAK

After this week we'll be taking time off over the holidays from gathering. We'll be back for Wednesday nights on January 12th and Sunday mornings on January 9th. Enjoy Christas and the new year celebrations with friend and family!
