Christmas Event for Women

"...because of the tender mercy of our God,
by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven
to shine on those living in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the path of peace." -

Luke 1:78-79

Enjoy an evening away from responsibilities, to-do lists and schedules. Settle your senses. Take in a night of refuge.

  • Taste delicious charcuterie boards and desserts* with women of all ages and stages of life.
  • Sing familiar Christmas melodies that draw us close to the source of peace.
  • Listen to a special message from speaker Elin Henderson about peace from Jesus, even in the midst of life's stressful and unexpected circumstances.
  • Experience the warmth of community among women who, like you, have come to be refreshed, renewed and equipped to walk The Path of Peace.

Please consider who you might invite to join you!

Devotional books, with written contributions from Oakwood women, will be given to each guest in attendance. They'll also be available to purchase for $10. The devotional will make a great gift for friends, neighbors and co-workers! Proceeds go to support Ending Scripture Poverty.

When: Friday, Dec. 3 | 7-8:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30 p.m.)

Where: Oakwood Church
