Week of April 26, 2021 for 9th -12th Grade

by Myles Hanson on April 27, 2021

Hey families! We finally made it to spring! I hope you get some great time outside while the weather is perfect.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29 | 8-9 PM
This Wednesday we're looking at the word "Integrity". How we act, react, and speak when we're with others or on our own matters because God is always watching. We've been talking about disciplemaking priorities the last couple weeks and ending the discussion on integrity will, hopefully, cement these priorities into our regular routines. This is one of my favorite discussions, looking forward to this time together!
SATURDAY, MAY 1 | 9-11 AM

Phase Day is this weekend! We'd love to have you and your student come together from 9:00 - 11:00am for faith conversations with your students on how God has given each us the responsibility to be leaders with the group of people He's put in our path. I'm looking forward to leading this time together and if you can't make it in person, we've got an online option available! Sign up here by Thursday morning. See you there!
SUNDAY, MAY 2 | 9-10 AM
Sunday mornings we'll be moving into 2 Timothy for our group Bible study. We're going to be asking how we love God and love others, as usual, but we're also going to be looking for Timothy's disciplemaking journey with, before, and after Paul's time with him. These Sunday studies have been an awesome time in Scripture together, thanks for having your student involved!
SUNDAY, MAY 2 | 6-7:30 PM
And Sunday night we'll be finishing up our discussion on Messy Families. There's a few smaller stories we're going to blitz though, Abimelech, Job's wife, and Jacob and Esau. The main take away this week is time in prayer for our families and discussing how our view of our family changes because of these spiritual examples. It's my prayer that these last few weeks will grow your family together closer in the middle of the hard times.
We're looking forward to another week together partnering with your family. We'll see you all soon!
