by Caleb Garnett on October 29, 2024

Sunday Morning Programming
This Sunday, Sept. 15, student programming takes place during our 9 a.m. service. We will be continuing through “The Thread” series this week in the Book of Acts with a focus on the martyrdom of Stephen and the cost of being a Christian. You can find a parent letter here for more information.
Wednesday Night Community
Wednesday night student programming is from 6:30 – 8 p.m. This is a chance for your student to build relationships with peers and leaders, hear a message from God’s word, and of course have lots of fun!
We will be continuing our “Who am I?” series about our identity. Students will be discovering who God says they are, and why they should place their identity and worth in Him. This week, we will be learning about how our identity is rooted in being God’s children if we have truly believed in Jesus for salvation. Our main scriptures are from John 1:12-13 and Romans 8:15-17.
I would encourage you to discuss with your students what it means to you to be a child of God and how that truth has impacted and changed your life.
Districts Registration
Parents of High School students, Districts Youth Conference in Green Bay is quickly approaching, taking place Jan. 10-12, 2025. This year’s theme is “Come Hear Some Good News.” This event is a fantastic opportunity for our students to deepen their faith, worship with their peers, and strengthen their relationships within our community.

You can also visit the Districts website here for more information. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We’re looking forward to a transformative experience for all who attend.

Pizza and snacks will be provided. Get Pat and Jeanene's address in our Oakwood app.
