This Sunday: They Forgot the Lord
This Sunday, we are resuming our journey through the Bible, where we will be in
Judges 3. After promising that they would follow the Lord when they came into the land, the people of Israel have already forgotten that promise. Because of this, God gave them over into oppression by the hands of many different people groups, until God raises up Othniel, the first judge, to deliver them from oppression. Students will be challenged this week with the idea that God’s deliverance is greater than our sin. Even when we are as far from God as Israel was, God raised up a Deliver for us, His only son Jesus. This is a beautiful passage that points to the truth of our need for a savior.
Wednesday Night Community
We’re back this week to kick off our last series of the school year, which we’re titling “Not Too Young.” This series will explore how many of the great leaders of the Bible were young people that God used to do incredible things. Students will be encouraged to see the truth that God can use them right here and now, and they don’t have to wait until the are “adults” to be used by God.
This week we will be diving into the anointing of David by Samuel in
1 Sam. 16. In this passage, David is overlooked by almost everyone, his own family included, but God didn't overlook him. God looked at his heart and knew that he wanted him to rule Israel one day, even though he was young.

Join the Worship Team!
This year, we’ve introduced a time of worship into our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening gatherings, and we’d love for your students to be involved!
Calling All Singers: Our most pressing need is for singers to help lead worship up front. If your student has a passion or talent for singing, please reach out to me. We’d love to have them join the team!
Musicians Welcome: We’re also looking for students who play instruments and want to use their talents to serve God through worship arts.
Thank you for encouraging your student to be part of this meaningful ministry. Together, we can make worship a powerful and impactful experience!
