Hello families!!
The long wait is over... Carrie Haverlock has started her new role as Oakwood's Kids Ministry Director.
Carrie clearly loves Jesus, loves kids and loves families. There is no doubt that Oakwood is going to be blessed by and through her ministry here at Oakwood.
I want to send out a huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers (and Pastor Marcus) that have stepped up to serve on Sunday and Wednesday nights to partner with you in helping your kids grow in what it means to love God, love others, and make disciples. Our ministries do not happen without our volunteers!
Special thank you to Ashley Schmidt who graciously stepped in this past summer to help bridge the gap! She also served on our interview team and she has served as a faithful volunteer this fall.
I would also like to say thank you to Margaret Fiedler, Lexi Ellis, Amanda Penebaker, Wayne Steffen, Scott Walker, Carrie Ziebell, Greg and Jamie Mandigo, Myles Hanson, Roger Ellis, Marcus Constantine, Bridget Kilbride and Kristin Stenholtz who prayed and jumped in on the interview process.
We believe that you are really going to enjoy getting to know her.

In celebration of Pastor Ellis's retirement, we will have one - 9 a.m. worship experience. Childcare and kids programming will resume Sunday, Jan. 23.
