Happy 2022, families! It's a brand new year and the opportunities are endless for how we're going to spend this year. Has your family set a plan in place for growing in your faith in 2022?
JAN 9 | 9-10 AM
High School gatherings start this weekend! Our group leaders are getting trained for the new year this Wednesday and they're hitting the ground running on Sunday morning for our first meeting! We'll be in the High School room from 9:00 - 10:00am to get our goals realigned now that we're in 2022. We talked about goals this past summer and I told the group that we'd relook at our goals later in the year as a reminder for those who forgot about their goals as well as hear the stories of those who have been working hard on their goals over the fall.
Sunday morning gatherings are for both middle and high school students. We meet in the same room at the same time, but split by age group for our discussions with group leaders recruited for that age group. We'd love to have your students join us and hop into the conversation!

And this Sunday night we're going bowling! We'll catch up with each other while we knock down some pins at Sunset Bowl in Waukesha. If your student needs a ride to the bowling alley, they can meet me at Oakwood at 6:00pm. Otherwise, we'll meet your student at Sunset Bowl by 6:30. The shoe rental and games are my treat, let's have some fun!
JAN 12 | 7:45 -8:45 PM
The Wednesday night Bible study run by Elyse Stenholtz will resume on January 12th from 7:45 - 8:45pm in the High School Room. They'll be picking back up in Hebrews and challenging each other in their faith journeys. All high school students are invited and encouraged to join! See them there!
FEB 18-20
And lastly, our high school group is going on Winter Retreat! February 18-20 at Camp Awana (north of Oakwood about 30 minutes) along with another youth group from Illinois. Lots of fun winter activities, worship and chapels, and time to connect with friends and make some new ones are what your student can expect. It's $120 to go, sign-up startS later this week! Save the date!
