Taste of Passover
Friday, April 15, 2022, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
This year, our commemoration of Good Friday coincides with the Jewish Feast of Passover!
We are choosing to celebrate the Jewish roots of our faith while also remembering all our Lord Jesus accomplished for us this Holy Week. The Passover Seder is a time-honored tradition for practicing Jewish families, which points ahead to fulfillment in our Messiah Jesus.
Bill Marris, Oakwood Member & founder of Circuit Rider Ministries, will be walking us through the richness of this holiday. Each family will receive a Passover Haggadah, which outlines the prayers and Scripture readings of Jewish families around their Seder tables. Kids will receive an activity placement and will get to be part of fun activities throughout the evening, including a search for the hidden matzah bread and checking if the Prophet Elijah has come to visit.
Eat dinner before you come. We’ll provide each person a taste of the traditional Passover elements.
