How It Works
1. Child- and family-serving agency workers identify a need, organizes the details, and enters them into the CarePortal platform.
2. Trained Response Teams, like the one that will be established at Oakwood through this training, will be able to review response requests and determine if they can respond. The team will work together to gather the requested items and needs.
3. Trained Response Team members will deliver the gathered items to the family, facilitating community connection and the opportunity to share and showcase the love of Jesus in our community.
4. Once the need is met, Oakwood provides feedback about the experience to ensure needs are effectively being met and that it's a positive experience for all involved.
