In Oakwood Connect Groups, you will make new friends and grow in your walk with Jesus.
YOUNG ADULTS
Schedule: Sundays | 6 - 8:30 p.m.
Audience: 18 - 28 year old co-ed adults

Description: The Young Adult Ministry exists to connect young adults to Christ, one another, and the mission of His church. Its goal is to foster spiritual growth, authentic relationships, and active service in the body of Christ.

SENIOR FELLOWSHIP
Schedule: Wednesdays | 10:30 a.m.
Audience: Retirement age, co-ed adults

Description: The challenge in every season of life is to realize God’s divine purpose and to be an active participant in His plan. Senior Fellowship at Oakwood embraces the years our holy and gracious God has given us.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT COMMUNITY
Wednesday Night Community is an evening of connection and spiritual growth at Oakwood with a variety of group options for adults, plus Kids and Student Ministries.
Wednesday Night Community is taking a break for the summer and will resume again in the fall.
WOMEN'S GROUPS
1 Thessalonians
Schedule: Mondays 6:30 – 8 p.m. from June 15 – July 27 (6 weeks/no meeting July 6)
Location: Oakwood
Leaders: Ellen Heiden and Sarah Hayden
Description: One of the first epistles written to the early church, Paul’s message in 1 Thessalonians is to remind the church that Jesus will return to bring salvation to believers. This message provides great hope and great incentive to pursue Christlikeness. As Article 9 in our Statement of Faith reads: “The coming of Christ, at a time known only to God, demands constant expectancy and, as our blessed hope, motivates the believer to godly living, sacrificial service and energetic mission.” We will use practical Bible study tools to unpack the meaning of Scripture and apply it in our lives.

Women of the Word
Schedule: 2nd + 4th Wednesdays | 9 - 10:15 a.m.
Audience: Women
Leader(s): Sarah Duwe + Dionne Wilhelm
Description: Build Bible study confidence with practical methods. This group is currently studying Proverbs.
Location: Mama D's in Wales

MEN'S GROUPS

MIGHTY MEN OF GOD
Schedule: Weekdays 5:30 + 6:30 a.m., Saturdays 7 a.m.
Audience: Men

Description: These groups of men meet regularly to "armor up" with God's Word and prayer. Come when you can!

JUST AMONG MOMS
