YOUNG ADULTS
Schedule: Sundays | 6 - 8:30 p.m.
Audience: 18 - 28 year old co-ed adults

Description: The Young Adult Ministry exists to connect young adults to Christ, one another, and the mission of His church. Its goal is to foster spiritual growth, authentic relationships, and active service in the body of Christ.

SENIOR FELLOWSHIP
Schedule: Wednesdays | 10:30 a.m.
Audience: Retirement age, co-ed adults

Description: The challenge in every season of life is to realize God’s divine purpose and to be an active participant in His plan. Senior Fellowship at Oakwood embraces the years our holy and gracious God has given us.

Living Empowered by the Holy Spirit (Part of the Discipleship Rhythms Series)
Audience: Co-ed adults

Description: As disciples of Jesus, we have access to the Holy Spirit who lives in us. How do we develop a deeper relationship with the Spirit, keeping in step with Him as He guides and empowers us for Christ-like living? Through biblical teaching and group activities, we will examine the role of the Holy Spirit in everyday life as well as how spiritual gifts are given to each believer to build up the church.
Emotionally Healthy Spirituality
Audience: Co-ed adults

Location: MMOG Room
Description: The truth is you can't be spiritually mature while remaining emotionall immature. In this study, we will discuss the biblical integration of emotional health and the spiritual practice of slowing down and quieting your life to experience a firsthand relationship with Jesus. This is a video-based study featuring teaching from Peter Scazzero.

Audience: Women

Description: Throughout the pages of Scripture, God is known by many names--names that reveal who He is, what He does, and how He relates to His children. Together, we'll examine names for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and you'll discover the impact each of God's names has on your relationship with Him.

Description: With masterful storytelling, Jesus uses everyday imagery in the parables to reveal truths about the Kingdom of Heaven. These parables challenge us to examine our responses to the gospel and to live in anticipation of the Kingdom's ultimate fulfillment. Together, we will discuss how we seek the Kingdom first and live out its principles in our daily lives.

Description: No one sets out to struggle, yet we often find ourselves in these seasons, struggling to embrace the gospel hope we need to fill our discouraged souls. Through studying the Book of Colossians, we will practice preaching gospel truth to ourselves by studying Paul's example. In every changing season of life, we can rest in God's character, rehearse our identity in Christ, respond in faith, and remember God's provision for us. This is a video-based study featuring teaching from Ruth Chou Simons.

JUST AMONG MOMS
Just Among Moms (JAM) is a welcoming place where moms can connect with one another and share their lives. JAM meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8 p.m. or Thursday mornings from 9 - 10:45 a.m. Choose the option that best fits your schedule.
This fall, the women in JAM will be studying Present Over Perfect and 8 Great Smarts, focusing on intentional living and understanding how God uniquely designed our kids.
