Kids Ministry

At Oakwood Kids, we create a safe, welcoming place where every child can know Jesus, build meaningful relationships, grow in their faith, and be equipped and encouraged to shine His light – while partnering with families to build faith at home.

Sundays at Oakwood

Each Sunday at 9 a.m., parents can check-in and drop off their kids on the Upper Level at Oakwood. This ministry year, volunteer leaders will be guiding kids through The Gospel Project curriculum. Through play, art, music and more, kids will learn that the big story of the Bible is more than a story - it's good news that can be lived out and shared!

Wednesdays at Oakwood

Programming for preschool through 5th grade is offered in three trimesters during the school year. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30–8 p.m., with each trimester featuring engaging Bible lessons, games, worship, hands-on activities, and opportunities for kids to build friendships as they grow in their faith.
Our Fall Trimester begins Sept. 16, and we'll continue our Rainforest Falls adventure as we "Explore the Nature of God" together. We can't wait to discover more about who God is through the stories of the Bible! (We will conclude our fall trimester on Nov. 18 with our kids Operation Christmas Child Packing Party.)

Ways to connect

In Person - Join us each Sunday morning at Oakwood at 9 a.m. for kids programming. We have a nursery (birth - 2-years-old) and programming (3K - 5th grade). We do have one service Sundays near Independence Day, the week between Christmas and New Year's, and during Family Month (Aug. 9 - Sept. 6) when we have childcare for kids 4 and younger.
