The goal of our Mental Health Ministry Team is to come alongside people who are living with a mental health concern and those who love them. We provide support through resources, special events and training opportunities. Our Mental Health Ministry Team is comprised of professionals and lay people with a passion for mental, emotional and relational health. Watch Part 1 and Part 2 of our Mental Health Q+A event for a look at the breadth of issues our team covers.
Additionally, our Care Connection ministry would love to provide meals when you or someone in your family is going through a mental health crisis.
To learn more about the foundations of our Mental Health Ministry, watch this message with guest speaker Amy Simpson. You can also view this Suicide Prevention Training with counselor Jenny Heckman.
Whether you have a mental health concern or a loved one has a mental health concern, Oakwood wants to pray for you, provide resources, and support you in any way we are able.
