Students: Week of March 23, 2026

by Caleb Garnett on March 23, 2026

This Sunday - As He Said

This week we are taking a break from our regular curriculum to focus on Jesus' death and resurrection in Matthew 27 and 28. The cross highlights the depth of our sin, but the resurrection made us clean.

Since this is a "bonus lesson" in our curriculum, there is no family connect or daily discipleship guide this week.

Wednesday Night Community

We are in the middle of a four-week series called, "The Last Words of Jesus." Throughout the series, we'll look at three stories that recount the final words Jesus offered before His crucifixion, and one where Jesus shared Hi final instructions to His disciples (and us!) before ascending into Heaven.

Series Overview

This four-week series challenges students to ask themselves how they might apply the last words of Jesus to their lives today.

Session 3: "It Is Finished"

Big Idea: Jesus did what no one else could do.

Question for Discussion: Why do you think it might be difficult for some people to accept the idea that there is nothing they can do to earn or repay Jesus' sacrifice?

No Middle School Gathering

There will be no Middle School Gathering in April due to it falling on Good Friday. We'll see you in May!

New Quarterly Calendars

New quarterly calendars are available to pick up this week in the THRIVE room or at on the Family Resource board in the main upper hallway.
