Here are some updates to OSM:

Sunday Morning June 16

Chad W and Mike H will be leading this week. The HS and MS will be in the same room. 

Kids Camp – Volunteer Opportunity
July 31 from 1 - 4 p.m.

Student’s help is needed again this year at Kid’s Camp. There are many opportunities to serve the Kids of Oakwood. Please see Chris or Ashley Schmidt for an application. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ashley at .

 

Pool Party-Anderson’s Home
July 21 from 5 - 7 p.m.

Pool Party-Wilhelm’s Home
Aug. 11 from 5 - 7 p.m.

  • MS Camp at Lake Lundgren Bible Camp Oct. 11 - 13
  • Districts Youth Conference Jan. 10 - 12
    • Sign-up will be much earlier this year due to a change in how sign-ups will work.

More About Chris

Besides his full-time job in the medical world, Chris’ specialty is dad jokes. He’s fueled by Jesus and caffeine – cold brews, specifically. His wife (Interim Kids Ministry Director, Ashley Schmidt) and two kids keep Chris energized. Together, they enjoy playing games that they make up (and hopefully don’t end in injury. Sounds fun, right?!). Chris’ testimony, administrative skills, and desire to see youth follow Christ make him a great addition to the Oakwood team.
