This Sunday - Your Sins are Forgiven

This Sunday we will be in Mark 2 with the account of Jesus healing the lame man lowered through the roof. While this man is in need of physical healing, Jesus knew that the healing he really needed was from sin.

Enjoy this Family Connect Page and Daily Discipleship Guide to keep the conversation going all week long.

Wednesday Night - Worship Night

This week we will be doing something a little different. We are joining in with others from church for a night of worship as we connect with God as part of the Reconnect series. This will run from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in our THRIVE Room.

Water Night

This Friday from 6 - 8 p.m., we will host a water night here at Oakwood. We will be building a giant slip and slide, have water balloons and water games, and a bonfire with s'mores (weather permitting). Bring your swimsuit and towel. We can't wait to see students there!

High School Life Group

The high school life group will resume this Sunday, July 19, returning to the regular rhythm of meeting the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. This group meets the Low house from 6 - 8 p.m.

Save the Dates

Beach Party

Lake Country Youth Collective will again be hosting the beach party on Aug. 19 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Fowler Park in Oconomowoc. There will be games, times of testimony, worship, and more! This even is free and open to students in grades 6 - 12. We can't wait to see your students there!

Middle School Retreat

We are taking middle school students back to Lake Geneva Youth Camp this fall for Fall Blast Oct. 2 - 4. If your students wants to go, please save the date. Registration opens soon!

CIY 2027

High school parents, you should have received an email recently about CIY 2027. CIY (Christ in Youth) hosts a week-long summer conference called MOVE during which students grow closer to God, build relationships with peers and leaders, and experience a week away from home. I am very excited to try and take a group of high school students in 2027, but I need a verbal commitment this fall as this event sells out quickly. We are looking to attend the week-long camp event that's held at Wheaton University in Wheaton, IL, next July (dates TBD). If your student is seriously interested, please email me so I can reserve your student a spot.
