Kids: Week of March 23, 2026

by Ashley Schmidt on March 23, 2026

Wednesday, March 25

This we we find out what secret weapon we need to fight against sin! In Matthew 4:1-11, Jesus gets tempted by the devil. The kids will learn that God's secret weapon, the Bible, can help us become disciples for Him! You don't want to miss this week as we make our own secret weapons and study our favorite Bible verses.

Sunday, March 29

Toddlers-1st graders get to wave palm branches in the worship service. Please plan to arrive a little early and consider staying until around 10:45 to allow your child(ren) to wave palm branches in both services.

If your older child wants to participate, they can stay and wave branches in the 10:30 service.

All Kids will be learning about Easter Sunday this week. If you want to go beyond the lesson, there are some great resources available:

  1. This book recommendation (on the Family Life Resource Board)
  2. Pull out your iSpy Easter Bottle or Easter Rocks and go through them as a family!
  3. Read the Bible within the four gospels - Matthew 26-28, Mark 15-16, Luke 22-24, and John 17-20.
  4. Watch Hey-O Stories of the Bible: Easter
  5. Click here for resources on talking to your child about following Jesus and baptism.
