Wednesday, Feb. 11
The kids did an amazing job with Patience last week! We had lot of laughs with the bounce house, and Mr. Mark and Ms. Molly helped the kids learn what God expects of us, when it comes to patience.
This week we learn about Kindness. In 2 Samuel 9, there is the story of King David and Mephibosheth, which will help us understand why we are called to be kind in all we do!
Coming Soon to WNC
On March 4, we'll celebrate the completion of the Fruit of the Spirit lessons. Kids are invited to wear fuzzy socks or slippers, and bring their favorite fruit to put in our fruit salad. Please have fruit washed and ready to eat.
Sunday, Feb. 15
The wall is built and we introduce the prophet, Zechariah. You can use these Gospel Gems to prepare your kid for class or use them afterwards to review. These gems are great for all ages, starting as young as 3 years old!
Offering Update
Our current offering project is to help cover costs for Miss Shirley and her husband, Dave, fly to Egypt with help missionary families. Every penny and prayer is for His glory! Stop by the 2nd & 3rd grade classroom and say “hello” to Miss Shirley.
Easter Rocks Volunteer Opportunities | Saturday, March 14 | 9-noon
- We are looking for a few people to make cute “Pinterest-worthy” Easter themed snacks to have at the event.
- Volunteers are also needed the day of to greet, assist families gather supplies, lead stations, and clean up.
