Kids: Week of April 6, 2026

Wednesday, April 8

Disciple Me continues this week! Just like the minions love their bananas, kids will learn to put their love and focus on Jesus. Our story will come from Matthew 14 where Jesus calls out to Peter on a boat. Jesus is walking on water, and Peter is afraid of falling in and forgets to keep his eyes on His Savior. 

Sunday, April 12

The Gospel Project leads kids chronologically through the Bible and this week we will be celebrating Jesus' birthday! It may seem out of order, but it is a great way to remind everyone that everything points to Jesus! 

Offering Update

Kids have a goal of collecting $167 (see what we did there) toward craft supplies for the team serving at Esperanza Viva Youth Home this summer. 

Registration is Open for Kids Camp!  

Explore the nature of God at Rainforest Falls, Oakwood's Kid's Summer Day Camp on July 29. Just like previous years, you can bring a friend for FREE! Register early so you can choose your favorite specials!

More About Ashley

Ashley is often on the go! She’s a mom to two busy kids and a high energy dog, she volunteers with her kids’ Parent Teacher Organization, and she enjoys hosting family dinners on Sundays. While the quiet at her family’s cabin draws her to northern Wisconsin often, she likes to travel and see God’s creation with her husband and kiddos. In her spare time (what’s that?!), Ashley enjoys baking and cake decorating, and learning new photography skills. Of course, a good cup of coffee fuels all of this activity and fun!
