Caring for Congo Donation Drive

We are honored and blessed to serve several partners around the world. We have an opportunity to send tangible items to our brothers and sisters in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The supplies will help:
- The Tandala Hospital and Medical Work
- Orphans in the Global Fingerprints sponsorship program
- Promise Home, which has been supporting kids with disabilities since 2006
- New Horizon School, which provides excellent education that is Christ-centered (preschool through sixth grade)
Details
When: Aug. 9 - Sept. 6
Where: Drop-off bins are located inside the exit doors at Oakwood
What: Search your home for used items from the list below, or purchase items from this Amazon wish list
Donation List
- New or gently use shoes in all different sizes especially 6-9
- Flat sheets
- Fabric (no prints with owls)
- Tools such as hammers, saws, and metric measuring tapes
- New hand towels/washcloths
- Full-size tube of toothpaste and toothbrushes
- Pencils, small pencil sharpeners, small notepads (5x7 or smaller)
- Bars of soap
- Gently-used, solid print scrubs in any size
- Gently used boys shorts in any size and gently use girls dresses in any size
