Jesus Loves You and Me!
(Good Friday—John 18-19, Luke 22:39-23:56)
Jesus loves you and me. He showed the depth of His love by leaving heaven to become human and die on a cross for our sin. Jesus knew the horrible events that awaited Him, and yet, hours before His death He prayed for us! Read John 17 when you have a few moments. You’ll see Jesus’ love for His disciples, and in verse 20, He prays for you and me, too! “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.” Wow!
This week we’ll be talking about the great sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross and the truth that Jesus Loves You and Me.
