Students: Week of Oct. 5, 2026

by Caleb Garnett on October 05, 2026

Sunday - Five Loaves and Two Fish

We will be revisiting the familiar account of Jesus feeding the five thousand.

Here are the Family Connection Page and Daily Discipleship Guide.

Wednesday Night Community

This week we are asking the next big question of worldview, which is "How can what is wrong be made right?" We'll look at how Jesus is the only answer to what is wrong with the world, and how that helps us see our world differently as believers.

High School Life Group

Our Sunday night high school group resumes meeting on Oct. 11 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Low's house in Delafield. Bring a Bible to study God's Word. Friends are welcome to join!

Districts 2027 - Sign Up Deadline This Week!

I can't believe it's that time of year again, but Districts is coming up fast! If you're not familiar, Districts is a weekend conference put on by the EFCA Forest Lakes District for all of our youth. It's a powerful weekend of hearing God's Word, worshiping together, and growing in our faith.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved." - Ephesians 2:4-5

More About Caleb

Caleb's a perfect fit for the youth of Oakwood. Not only is he passionate about teaching them about Jesus and growing healthy relationships, he's a kid at heart. He loves DC Comics, Lord of the Rings, and video games. Stop in and check out the impressive Lego builds in his office some time! And let's not hold it against him, but he's an avid Rams fan. In all seriousness, Caleb is qualified. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Christian leadership from Bethel University and a Master of Arts in ministry and leadership from Judson University. When Caleb's not at Oakwood, he's spending time with his wife and two small kids.
