Students: Week of Oct. 14, 2024

by Caleb Garnett on October 14, 2024

Sunday Morning Programming
This Sunday, Oct. 20, student programming is back during our 9 a.m. service. We will be continuing through “The Thread” series this week with a focus on Pentecost and the Holy Spirit. You can find a parent letter here for more information.
Wednesday Night Community
We will be beginning a brand-new teaching series this week called “Who am I?” This series is all about our identity. Students will be discovering who God says they are, and why they should place their identity and worth in Him. This week, we will be talking about how we are made in the image of God. Our main scripture for this week will be Genesis 1:26-27.
I am super excited that we have David Smith joining us this Wednesday night as our speaker to kick off this new series. I would encourage all of your students to come out this week and hear him speak!
Districts
Parents of High School students, Districts youth conference in Green Bay, WI, is quickly approaching, taking place Jan. 10-12, 2025. This year’s theme is “Come Hear Some Good News.” This event is a fantastic opportunity for our students to deepen their faith, worship with their peers, and strengthen their relationships within our community.
Registration is open now! The deadline for registration has been extended until Nov. 1. You can register for Districts here. The cost is $75 per student. You can also visit the Districts website here. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We’re looking forward to a transformative experience for all who attend.
