by Caleb Garnett on October 12, 2026

Sunday - Walking on the Sea

We are looking at the familiar account of Jesus walking on water. Students will be challenged to live boldly and step out in faith, trusting Jesus with the lives.

Here is the Family Connection Page and Daily Discipleship Guide.

Wednesday Night Community - The Names of God

We wrapped up Worldview and will now begin discovering the names of God. This week, we will take a look at Psalm 20 and why it is so important to call on the name of the Lord.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved." - Ephesians 2:4-5

More About Caleb

Caleb's a perfect fit for the youth of Oakwood. Not only is he passionate about teaching them about Jesus and growing healthy relationships, he's a kid at heart. He loves DC Comics, Lord of the Rings, and video games. Stop in and check out the impressive Lego builds in his office some time! And let's not hold it against him, but he's an avid Rams fan. In all seriousness, Caleb is qualified. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Christian leadership from Bethel University and a Master of Arts in ministry and leadership from Judson University. When Caleb's not at Oakwood, he's spending time with his wife and two small kids.
