This Sunday – Guest Speaker
This Sunday, I am excited to welcome Neal Meitler, one of our long time members, to share with our students. Neal is going to share a testimony of his time involved with student ministry and the revolution that Jesus brought about through the young people he worked with. This is going to be an inspiring Sunday for our students, and I hope to see them all there!
Wednesday Night

I can’t believe we are already down to our last Wednesday night of 2025. To wrap up this calendar year with THRIVE, we're embarking on an exciting and thought-provoking journey with our group titled "3 Tough Questions." This series is designed to address common, challenging questions about faith head-on, helping our students build a solid foundation for their beliefs and equipping them to confidently share their faith with others. Here is what we will be discussing this week:
Session 3: Did The Resurrection Really Happen?
Big Idea: The Resurrection definitely happened, and it changes everything.
Question for Discussion: What does the Resurrection mean for us as believers? Why do you think it’s important that we know it actually happened?
Men’s Breakfast
Our next Men’s Breakfast is happening on Dec. 6 here at Oakwood. I (Caleb) have the opportunity to speak that morning, and I’d love to have some of our young men join us. It would mean a lot to see you there!
Thanksgiving Devotional
I wanted to share this resource with you from Empowered Homes. It's a short five day devotional to help your family practice gratitude. As we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, it's the perfect time to talk to your students about what they're grateful for and to share what you are grateful for in your life!
Christmas Party
Dec. 10 | 6 - 8 p.m.
On Wednesday, Dec. 10, we will be gathering at Oakwood for a special Christmas Party. We will have food, games, festive music, a Christmas costume contest, and our white elephant gift exchange.
For the costume contest, dress up as your favorite Christmas character or put on your most festive outfit! There will be a prize for our winner.
For the gift exchange, the gifts can be a maximum of $15. The funnier the gift, the better.
