This Sunday - Global Partner Sunday

I am so excited to let you know that we will have one of our Global Partners speaking to our students this Sunday. She will share about the work that's happening around the world for Jesus (note: the details are intentionally vague for security purposes). I would highly encourage all of our students for this impactful Sunday!

Wednesday Night | 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Guest Speaker

We will be hearing from one of our awesome leaders, Lexi Hermes, about how perfect love drives out envy. Lexi is the host of the "You Can, Through Christ" podcast, author of the book "You Can, Through Christ," and she has been a speaker at the Known Women's Conference. Our students are going to be blessed by listening to her speak this week.

Baptism Class

We are offering a baptism class on Sunday, March 15, at 10:30 a.m. for students interested in baptism. This class is for students who want to be baptized or simply want to learn more about baptism. The next baptisms at Oakwood are on Easter Sunday, April 5. If a student is interested in this class, please sign up here.

Middle School Gathering

This Friday, March 6, is the next Middle School Gathering at the Feder's house. From 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., 6th-8th graders will enjoy pizza, fun, games, and thought-provoking questions. RSVP to Pat Feder.

Lake Country Throwdown

We are excited to team up with Lake Country Youth Collective to bring you the Lake Country Throwdown! This is a dodgeball tournament open to all students in grades 6-12. Gather your team and register here. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed team and, of course, our champions! Food will also be provided, along with alternative games and entertainment for those who don't want to play dodgeball.

When: April 10, 6 - 9 p.m.

Where: Oakwood Church

Day of Global Youth Evangelism

On March 21, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., we will be gathering at Oakwood for evangelism training. This is a video training from Dare 2 Share ministries. Students will hear from guest speakers and will get the chance to practice sharing the gospel. I encourage every student to attend and learn how to effectively share the Good News of Jesus with their peers. Donuts and drinks will be provided.
