This Sunday: Isn't This Joseph's Son? 

This week we will be in Luke chapter 4 where Jesus begins proclaiming the good news of who He is, and He gets rejected in His hometown. We will be encouraged that even when we are rejected for following Jesus, we can know that Jesus Himself was rejected as well.

Wednesday Night

As we continue to put an emphasis on sharing the gospel, we will start watching a series of evangelism training videos from Dare 2 Share. I would highly recommend that all of our students attend to see these videos! See you at Oakwood at 6:30 p.m.!

  • Kids Summer Day Camp | July 29
    • Oakwood's 5th annual Kids Summer Day Camp is July 29. Your student can fill out a CIT application HERE or pick up a physical copy in the THRIVE Room. 
  • Beach Party | Aug. 19
    • Lake Country Youth Collective is hosting the Beach party again this year on Aug. 19 from 6 - 8 p.m. There will be times of testimony, worship, and fellowship. I can't wait to see all of our students there!
  • Middle School Retreat | Oct. 2 - 4
    • We are taking our middle school students back to Lake Geneva Youth Camp for Fall Blast! Please mark your calendar and keep an eye out for registration information.

More About Caleb

Caleb's a perfect fit for the youth of Oakwood. Not only is he passionate about teaching them about Jesus and growing healthy relationships, he's a kid at heart. He loves DC Comics, Lord of the Rings, and video games. Stop in and check out the impressive Lego builds in his office some time! And let's not hold it against him, but he's an avid Rams fan. In all seriousness, Caleb is qualified. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Christian leadership from Bethel University and a Master of Arts in ministry and leadership from Judson University. When Caleb's not at Oakwood, he's spending time with his wife and two small kids.
