by Caleb Garnett on June 29, 2026

This Sunday - Family Sunday

This Sunday is a one-service Family Sunday in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Students are invited to worship with their family during the 9 a.m. service. We'll meet again in the THRIVE Room next Sunday, July 12.

Wednesday Night - Evangelism Training

This week we will continue watching the evangelism training from Dare 2 Share. We're meeting from 6:30 - 8 p.m. and all students are welcome to join us!

Kids Camp

Counselors-in-Training are still needed for Oakwood's Kids Summer Day Camp on July 29. If your student can help, please complete this application and email it to me ASAP. Thank you!

Water Night

On July 17 from 6 - 8 p.m., we will host a water night here at Oakwood. We will be building a giant slip and slide, have water balloons and water games, and a bonfire with s'mores (weather permitting). We can't wait to see students there!

Save the Dates

Beach Party

Lake Country Youth Collective will again be hosting the beach party on Aug. 19 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Fowler Park in Oconomowoc. There will be games, times of testimony, worship, and more! We can't wait to see your students there!

Middle School Retreat

We are taking middle school students back to Lake Geneva Youth Camp this fall for Fall Blast Oct. 2 - 4. If your students wants to go, please save the date. Registration opens soon!

CIY 2027

High school parents, you should have received an email recently about CIY 2027. CIY (Christ in Youth) hosts a week-long summer conference called MOVE during which students grow closer to God, build relationships with peers and leaders, and experience a week away from home. I am very excited to try and take a group of high school students in 2027, but I need a verbal commitment this fall as this event sells out quickly. We are looking to attend the week-long camp event that's held at Wheaton University in Wheaton, IL, next July (dates TBD). If your student is seriously interested, please email me so I can reserve your student a spot.
