This Sunday we will be in Mark 2 and 3 where many come to follow Jesus. While some did not like this, Jesus points out that He came for the sick, not the righteous.

Wednesday Night - Bonfire Hangout
This week we're joining the rest of Oakwood for the Reconnect bonfire from 6:30 - 8 p.m. We'll enjoy s'mores and play yard games with the rest of our church family as we connect with others.
Friday Night - Water Night
Because of the poor air quality this past weekend, we have bumped our water night to this Friday, July 24, from 6-8 p.m. We will be breaking out the giant slip and slide, so bring your swimsuit and a towel. We'll have s'mores, as well. See you there!
Family Month
I want to remind you that Family Month is coming up quickly! From Aug. 9 - Sept. 6, there will be no student programming on Sunday mornings. Regular student programming resumes on Sept. 13.
High School Life Group
Due to the busyness of summer, the high school life group will be taking a break for the rest of the summer. We will return in September and make this a regular part of school-year programming.
Save the Dates
Beach Party
Lake Country Youth Collective will again be hosting the beach party on Aug. 19 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Fowler Park in Oconomowoc. There will be games, times of testimony, worship, and more! This even is free and open to students in grades 6 - 12. We can't wait to see your students there!
Middle School Retreat
We are taking middle school students back to Lake Geneva Youth Camp this fall for Fall Blast Oct. 2 - 4. If your students wants to go, please save the date. Registration opens soon!
CIY 2027
High school parents, you should have received an email recently about CIY 2027. CIY (Christ in Youth) hosts a week-long summer conference called MOVE during which students grow closer to God, build relationships with peers and leaders, and experience a week away from home. I am very excited to try and take a group of high school students in 2027, but I need a verbal commitment this fall as this event sells out quickly. We are looking to attend the week-long camp event that's held at Wheaton University in Wheaton, IL, next July (dates TBD). If your student is seriously interested, please email me so I can reserve your student a spot.
