Students: Week of Jan. 19, 2026

by Caleb Garnett on January 19, 2026

Here is what is coming up with Thrive:
This Sunday – An Everlasting Kingdom
This week, as we continue through the book of Daniel, we come to chapter 7. IN this chapter Daniel sees a crazy vision of beasts and thrones and more. While they have dominion for a short time, we see that Jesus is the one whose kingdom will be everlasting. He is the only one who has been given dominion and authority forever.

Wednesday Night
6:30-8:00 pm.
We are in a new four-week series called Into the Deep End. Throughout this series, we’ll be exploring four different spiritual disciplines (or habits) that will help us take our relationship with God to a deeper level.

Series Overview

This four-week series will help students discover that the spiritual disciplines of prayer, scripture, worship, and community can help them connect with God and with others in a transformational way.

Session 2: Scripture
Big Idea: Scripture is more than just a book.
Question for Discussion: Have you ever felt like the Bible spoke directly to something you were going through?

Middle School Gathering
Hey middle school students, the next get together at the Feder’s house will be on Friday, February 6th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. There will be food, fun and games, and thought-provoking questions. RSVP by emailing Pat at

Summer Camp
Hey parents!
We are planning to attend summer camp at Lake Geneva Youth Camp this summer, from July 19th-24th. The cost for middle school students will be $598 and for high school students it will be $632. Fundraising will be done to support the costs of attending camp.
Both camps will run the same week, but MS and HS will have completely separate programming and lodging.
For more information you can visit Summer Camp | Lake Geneva Ministries
I need to know who is legitimately interested in sending their students to camp by the end of February, or ideally much sooner so I can put down a deposit to hold our spot. If your student plans to attend, PLEASE email me back at

Football Party
On Sunday, February 8th, from 5-9 pm we will gather together at the Anderson’s home to watch “the big game.” Pizza and drinks will be provided but students are encouraged to bring snacks and sides as well! Instead of watching the halftime show, we encourage students to bring their talents and we will put on our own halftime show! Come whenever and leave when you need to, but we hope to see you there!
