This Sunday – Student Programming Resumes
This week, we are diving into one of the most famous Biblical accounts – Daniel in the lions den. We’ll discover what it takes to stand up for your faith and how we can trust in God in even the most dire circumstances.
Here is the Family Connect and daily discipleship guide.
Wednesday Night
6:30-8:00 pm.
I hope you're doing well! This week, we are kicking off a new four-week series called Into the Deep End. Throughout this series, we’ll be exploring four different spiritual disciplines (or habits) that will help us take our relationship with God to a deeper level.
Series Overview
This four-week series will help students discover that the spiritual disciplines of prayer, scripture, worship, and community can help them connect with God and with others in a transformational way.
Session 1: Prayer
Big Idea: Prayer is more than just words.
Question for Discussion: What do you think "never stop praying" actually looks like in everyday life for someone your age?
Worship Night
This Friday, January 16th, from 6:30-8 pm, right here at Oakwood, our worship team is going to be hosting a worship night. This will be a time of refreshment for our souls as we spend time worshipping Jesus together.
I would highly encourage our students to attend this event, as the team pushed it back a week from it’s original date to accommodate our high school students.
Middle School Gathering
Hey middle school students, the next get together at the Feder’s house will be on Friday, February 6th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. There will be food, fun and games, and thought-provoking questions. RSVP by emailing Pat at
Summer Camp Interest Meeting
Hey parents,
On January 18th after the first service, I am going to hold a brief meeting to gauge interest about summer camp in 2026. I would love to take some students as I believe camp is a hugely influential event in the life of a student. If you are interested in that, I would love to see you in the student room after first service.
Football Party
On Sunday, February 8th, from 5-9 pm (roughly) we will gather together at the Anderson’s home to watch “the big game.” Pizza will be provided but students are encouraged to bring snacks and sides as well!
