Students: Week of Feb. 23, 2026

by Caleb Garnett on February 23, 2026

This Sunday - Nehemiah
This week we will be focusing in on the story of Nehemiah as he rallied the people to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
Wednesday Night Community
We are in the final week of our series called, "Relationship Goals." This series is specifically designed to prepare our students for the world of dating relationships, offering them biblical wisdom and practical advice for building relationships that honor God.

Series Overview

"Relationship Goals" is a three-week journey that will explore key aspects of healthy, God-centered relationships:
  • Week 3: Love Like Jesus
    • Big Idea: The more we get to know Jesus, the better equipped we are to love others like He does. This is the heart of a godly relationship.
    • Question for Discussion: How can understanding Jesus' love for us help us love others in our relationships?

Baptism Class

We will be offering a baptism class on Sunday, March 15, at 10:30 a.m. This is for students who want to be baptized or simply want to learn more about what baptism is. I would love to see your students there!

Baptisms are being offered on Easter Sunday, April 5. If a student is interested in being part of that group, I would highly recommend coming to this baptism class.
Middle School Gathering
Hey middle school students, the next get together at the Feder’s house is Friday, March 6, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. There will be food, fun and games, and thought-provoking questions. RSVP by emailing Pat at
Lake Country Throwdown
We are so excited to team up with Lake Country Youth Collective to bring you the Lake Country Throwdown! This is a dodgeball tournament open to all students in grades 6-12. Gather your team and register to win here: Lake Country Throwdown Dodgeball Tournament
Prizes will be awarded for best dressed team and of course, our champions! Food will also be provided, along with alternative games and entertainment for those who don’t want to play dodgeball.

When: April 10, 6 – 9 p.m.
Where: Oakwood Church
Global Day of Youth Evangelism
On March 21, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., we are gathering at Oakwood for evangelism training. This is a video training put together by Dare 2 Share ministries. Students will hear from great speakers and get the chance to practice sharing the gospel. I would encourage every student to attend and learn how they can effectively share the good news of Jesus with their peers. Donuts and drinks will be provided!
