Students: Week of Feb. 16, 2026

by Caleb Garnett on February 16, 2026

This Sunday - Esther
In our journey through the Bible, we are now onto one of the most incredible accounts in all of Scripture: the life of Esther. After staying in Persia, God used her to save her people. Our students will see that just like Esther, God can choose to use them if they are willing and open to his call.
Wednesday Night Community
As we recognize the importance of guiding our youth in forming healthy, godly relationships, we're working through a teaching series called, "Relationship Goals." This series is specifically designed to prepare our students for the world of dating relationships, offering them biblical wisdom and practical advice for building relationships that honor God.

*This is going to be a very middle school friendly series*

Series Overview
"Relationship Goals" is a three-week journey that will explore key aspects of healthy, God-centered relationships:
  • Week 2: Decide Who You’re Going to Be
    • Big Idea: If you want to be ready for a relationship, focus on humility, curiosity, and spiritual growth. These qualities are essential for a relationship that glorifies God.
    • Question for Discussion: What are some ways you can cultivate humility, curiosity, and spiritual growth in your own life?
Baptism Class
We will be offering a baptism class for any students interested on Sunday, March 15, at 10:30 a.m. This is for students who want to be baptized, or simply want to learn more about baptism. I would love to see your students there!

Middle School Gathering

Hey middle school students, the next get together at the Feder house is Friday, March 6, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. There will be food, fun and games, and thought-provoking questions. RSVP by emailing Pat at
Summer Camp
We are planning to attend summer camp at Lake Geneva Youth Camp from July 19-24. The cost for middle school students is $598 and for high school students it's $632. Fundraising will be done to support the costs of attending camp.
Both camps will run the same week, but middle school and high school will have completely separate programming and lodging.
For more information you can visit Summer Camp | Lake Geneva Ministries
I need to know who is legitimately interested in sending their students to camp by the end of February, or ideally much sooner so I can put down a deposit to hold our spot. If your student plans to attend, PLEASE email me back at

Global Day of Youth Evangelism
On Saturday March 21, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., we will be gathering at Oakwood for evangelism training. This is a video training put together by Dare 2 Share ministries. Students will hear from great speakers and will get the chance to practice sharing the gospel.
I would encourage every student to attend and learn how they can effectively share the good news of Jesus with their peers.
Donuts and drinks will be provided!
