Family Month

We are entering Family Month at Oakwood, which is Aug. 9 - Sept. 6. There is no Sunday morning student programming and students are encouraged to worship with their family at the one 9 a.m. service. Sunday student programming resumes Sept. 13.

Wednesday Night Schedule
  • Aug. 5 - No programming
  • Aug. 12 - Regular programming from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
  • Aug. 19 - Beach Party at Fowler Park 6 - 8 p.m.
  • Aug. 26 - Regular programming from 6:30 - 8 p.m.

High School Life Group

Due to the busyness of summer, the high school life group is taking a break for the rest of summer. We will return in September and make this a regular part of the school year.

Beach Party

Lake Country Youth Collective will again be hosting the Beach Party on Aug. 19 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Fowler Park in Oconomowoc. There will be games, time of testimony, worship, and more. This event is free and open to all students in grades 6 - 12. We can't wait to see your students there!

Church Picnic

Our annual Summer Picnic is coming up on Aug. 30. We will have one outdoor service at 9:30 a.m. followed by food, games, and more. We hope you are able to serve as a family and join us for the fun.

Middle School Retreat

We are taking middle school students back to Lake Geneva Youth Camp this fall for Fall Blast Oct. 2 - 4. Read the details and register your student by Sept. 18.

CIY 2027

CIY (Christ in Youth) hosts a week-long summer conference called MOVE during which students grow closer to God, build relationships with peers and leaders, and experience a week away from home. I am very excited to try and take a group of high school students July 12 - 16, 2027, but I need a verbal commitment this fall as this event sells out quickly. We are looking to attend the week-long camp event that's held at Wheaton University in Wheaton, IL, next July (dates TBD). If your student is seriously interested, please email me so I can reserve your student a spot.
