Wednesday, Sept. 16

By Sarah Burbey

Welcome Back! We are starting our first two weeks with, "God knows everything!" In Psalm 139:1, David celebrates all God knows. Seymour the glass frog, our Bible buddy from Rainforest Falls Summer Camp, will help us learn about the depth of understanding God has for us.

This fall I am excited to introduce Table Talks to families. Every Wednesday I will have available at our parent resource table a new "table talk" card for families to take home and continue the conversation about God. The cards will have the Bible verse we are working on, along with a few questions for everyone to answer at home. I pray these Table Talk cards deepen your family time and help you explore more about God together.

The kids will also be workign on sticky Scripture memory verses. We will focus on one verse for two weeks, then move on to the next one. The kids will collect memory cards and add them to their key ring. At the end of the session, they will go home with them. Our first memory verse will be:

Sunday, Sept. 20

Kids will be in Matthew 13 and Mark 4 this week learning about when Jesus taught about what the Kingdom of God was like using parables. Help your kid(s) know what parables are - they are stories!
