Our True North theme continues and so far, we have focused on...
- When we wonder, we can TRUST IN JESUS!
- When we feel powerless, we can TRUST IN JESUS!
The next two weeks we will lean into "When we need hope, we can TRUST IN JESUS." Scripture points us to this countless times, but we will focus on when Jesus dies and comes to life, just as He said He would.
Sunday, Oct. 12
Many of us know the familiar story of Jonah being in the belly of a big fish and on Sunday kids will get to dive into these Scriptures more. I love the Christ connection in this lesson - Jonah spent three days in a fish so that the people of Nineveh could hear God’s message, turn from sin, and be saved. Jesus was in the tomb for three days so that we could hear and trust the gospel, turn from sin, and be saved!
