Bible Basics - Toddlers - 5th Grade
In addition to teaching the scheduled lessons and building fun, positive relationships, our program also includes learning a biblical foundation. We call them Bible Basics. Each age group is challenged to learn age-specific goals. We encourage families to work on Bible Basics at home, too. There are resources for every age, toddlers - 5th grade, on our website to help. We completed our name tags for our sticky Scripture verses last week. The kids are doing an amazing job memorizing our verses from the rainforest! We also made some hide-away bags with secret messages inside, reminding us God is our safe place to go when we are in need. This week we finish up with Dotte the Ocelot. We have some extra help this week with a middle schooler who will help tell the story of David! It's going to be a fun night!
Sunday, Oct. 11
Matthew 14, Mark 6, Luke 9, and John 6 all tell us about when Jesus fed the huge crowd. Use this picture card to prepare or review with your kids this week. Tip: save the image as a background on your phone and refer to it throughout the week.
