Can You Pray? 

Kids Camp is July 29, welcoming 75 campers and 45 volunteers from Oakwood and Grace Church. Please pray for His Word to reach the hearts we serve. Please also pray as we wrap up summer programming: 

  • Praise God with us for the amazing summer team that taught kids about Jesus' healings and miracles.
  • Pray as we reset and prepare for fall programming to kick off, specifically for the right hearts to serve.

Sunday, Aug. 2

"Love your enemies."

"Wait... what?"

Some of Jesus' teachings can sound surprising! In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus challenges us to live differently. This week kids will discover what Jesus taught and how His words still guide us today. 

This is the last week of summer programming. Next week beings our Family Month (Aug. 9 - Sept. 6) where kindergarteners on up get the chance to worship with their families and enjoy busy bags, kids moments, and as always, kids bulletins. Childcare is still available for kids 4 and younger.

More About Ashley

Ashley is often on the go! She’s a mom to two busy kids and a high energy dog, she volunteers with her kids’ Parent Teacher Organization, and she enjoys hosting family dinners on Sundays. While the quiet at her family’s cabin draws her to northern Wisconsin often, she likes to travel and see God’s creation with her husband and kiddos. In her spare time (what’s that?!), Ashley enjoys baking and cake decorating, and learning new photography skills. Of course, a good cup of coffee fuels all of this activity and fun!
