Advent is a season of preparation and reflection that is celebrated for four weeks leading up to Christmas. How will you slow down and prepare for the true meaning of Christmas?

Sunday, Dec. 7
Do your kids know that Jesus’ birth was a prophecy that came true? Isaiah 7; 9; 11 and Micah 5 told us of Jesus’ birth then... it happened! Kids will be in a 3-week unit learning about all things Christmas, starting with before Jesus was even born.
Kids are also working on a Mini-Christmas-Pageant to share with everyone on Sunday, Dec. 21 during both services. Toddlers – preschoolers will be our “costumed” kids, kindergarten – 5th graders will be our choir, and a few brave 4th and 5th graders are also reading as narrators. Please consider allowing your child to stay until about 10:50 a.m. this day so they can perform both services.
Offering Project | Miss Shirley’s Mission Trip to Egypt
Our very own Miss Shirley is traveling to Egypt to share the love of Jesus with missionary kids while their parents participate in missionary training.
Our new Offering Project goal is $400 to help with the cost of airfare for Miss Shirley and her husband, Mr. Dave Locklin. All monies collected Dec. 7-March 15 will help offset the cost of their 12,000 mile journey.
On Sunday, Nov. 30, Kids Ministry offering totaled $4.53.
Wednesdays
Wednesday Night Community will resume Jan. 14 with a sweet unit about The Fruit of the Spirit.
