Kids Ministry is such a fun way to serve Jesus and the families in our church! We currently have needs Sunday mornings in our nursery and toddler room. Sign up using this Sign Up Genius and if you are new to serving in Kids Ministry, we will reach out and get you ready.

We had so much fun learning about our new Bible buddy, Tia, last week. Did you know giant anteaters have Lightning Tongue: They can flick their tongue in and out of their mouth up to 150-160 times per minute! Besides some cool facts, Tia the giant anteater also taught us what it means when we hear, "God is love!" The kids got creative and made some amazing stickers to give to their family and friends to show that love to others, and to encourage them.
This week we're focusing on the theme, "God is Love," walking through the powerful events of Luke 22-24. These chapters take us from the Last Supper through Jesus' arrest, crucifixion, and resurrection — the clearest picture we have of how deeply God loves us.

I was recently given a sweet gift — a pack of bandaids. Not just any band aids, but "Jesus Heals" band aids. They are the cutest little reminder of this weeks' lesson when Jesus heals a child and the sick. We hope kids will learn that Jesus wants to meet them where they are at and provide for them, forgive them, and bring them closer to Him.
