Remember my friend, Kody the bear from Camp? He’s back (sort of)!
When we feel powerless, we can TRUST IN JESUS! Kids will focus on this key point for the next two weeks using the story of the Roman officer trusting Jesus in Matthew 8:5-13. Leaders will explore an experiment with wire to help them connect with the theme. Be sure to ask them about the mighty wire on the drive home! If you cannot be there, check it out here.

We are still in Kings, and wow - I wonder how frustrated God was with His people. Ahab was a disobedient, greedy, and stubborn king who refused to lead Israel in the ways of the Lord. Jesus, the Good Shepherd, always obeyed God and laid down His life for us. Anyone who follows Him will dwell with God forever.
Oakwood’s Sick Kid Policy
We do our best to keep you and your family safe and healthy while leading your kids. All our volunteers are background checked, work in pairs or more, and are familiar with our severe weather, fire, and suspicious persons policies. We also have substitutes step in when a volunteer is sick (want to help this way – email Caleb). We also ask that you keep your kiddo home if they are under the weather.
