And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
Online and in-person women’s groups offered—something for everyone! Each group will focus on themes from 1 Corinthians 13, how God loves us well and how we reflect His love to others! Practical applications of loving others included. Check out offerings below.
Led by Lisa Boyer
Interested in getting in touch with your creative side this summer? We’ll experiment with different card making techniques, followed by discussions of themes from 1 Corinthians 13. You’ll then be able to apply the concepts of loving others from this Scripture by sending the cards to those in your sphere of influence who need to hear a message of God’s love! Physical distancing and other precautions will be in place. No experience necessary!
Meets for 4 weeks on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8 pm at Oakwood, starting June 25. Minimal material costs ($1-2 per week).
THIS GROUP IS CURRENTLY AT CAPACITY. PLEASE EMAIL SARAH HAYDEN, WOMEN AND GUEST CARE, WITH QUESTIONS.
Led by Lexi Ellis
In the midst of all our busyness, the art of being still and reflective has become a thing of the past. Join us in an online virtual small group as we reclaim it, working our way through weekly journaling, incorporating the written word or visual art centered on themes from 1 Corinthians 13. We’ll meet online each week, to share, encourage, and receive different prompts and resources to try. We’ll also have the chance to share our writing with others who need to hear about God’s love for them! Beginners and avid journalers are all welcome to this group!
Upon registration, you will be invited to join a private Facebook group. Begins the week of June 22.
You Are Free (in-person)
Led by Brittney High
In this 6-week video Bible study, teacher Rebekah Lyons explores why we all want to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, what we were made for. We’ll be reminded that God has plans for something specific for each and every one of us, if we have ears to hear the still small voice of a Father that beckons. When we experience the Father’s unconditional love for us, we will be able to freely love others! We’ll also incorporate an element of outreach to practice loving others well!
Join us on Wednesdays 6:30-8 pm, beginning on June 24. This group will meet in a home.

Prayer Walking (hybrid online and in-person)
Led by Mikaela Gitto & Sarah Hayden
Want to set aside time for prayer this summer? Interested in learning more about prayer walking? In this group, we’ll share some insight about this exercise and then take time to practice! We’ll gather on Zoom for some Scripture and strategy, then release you to walk and pray. Meet up with a small group of women from your neighborhood or prayer walk on your own. Either way, we’ll be loving our friends and neighbors as we lift them up to the God whose love never fails.
Meets three Monday evenings: June 29, July 13, and July 27. Zoom meetings start at 7 p.m., with prayer walking beginning at 7:30.
