Each Advent season, Oakwood shares an opportunity to give generously in a way that accomplishes our vision of being a community that loves Jesus and lives to make His love known. This year, there are two ways to give: tangibly or financially.
Give to Oakwood's Mission: Christmas

Support the short-term mission trip to impact the lives of orphans at Esperanza Viva in Mexico. This trip is happening in June and these funds will directly support Oakwood high school students who wish to attend this trip.
Survivors of sex trafficking living at Freedom House, a safe space created by our Community Partner Exploit No More, have specific needs while they heal. Purchase gifts from this Amazon wish list to bless them this Christmas.
Our Community Partner Family Promise of Waukesha County transforms the lives of families in our area experiencing homelessness. Purchase gifts from this Amazon wish list to provide tangible ways to fulfill its mission.
Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes share the love of Jesus and the gospel with kids around the world. Pick up a shoebox from the upper lobby at Oakwood, fill it with gifts, and return it to Oakwood by Nov. 19.
There are a few goals to accomplish this Christmas:
- $20,000 for partial scholarships for at least 10 high school students to attend the short-term mission trip to Mexico
- ALL of the items purchased on our Community Partners' wish lists
- 250 shoeboxes filled

Cash and checks need to be designated for Mission: Christmas and placed in the offering boxes or dropped off at the Oakwood office. If you give online, be sure to choose "Mission: Christmas" in the Fund drop-down menu.
