Hey families!
I can't believe we're on our last Sunday morning meeting for the summer. When we return it will be the start of the 2021 - 2022 school year, woah!
JULY 25 | 9 AM
This Sunday morning we're going to be finishing our Bible study through the "I am" statements of Jesus in the book of John. We had a great time learning more about Jesus, discussing Scripture together, and working on an art piece for the last 6 weeks. We'll put all the art pieces together at the end of our study and see the completed projects! Swing by the High School Room this week to see the finished artwork.
JULY 31 | 6-9 PM
On July 31st we're going to be having a Backyard Bash at the Wilhelm home! We'll be doing games, pool time, food, and having a bunch of fun from 6:00 - 9:00pm. And the best part of this event is: The whole family is invited! All we ask is you bring a snack or drink to share with the group. Take a second to sign up here to let us know you're coming!
AUGUST 1 - SEPT 5
Lastly, August is Family Month here at Oakwood. We're going to be doing one church service each Sunday at 9:30am and its all outdoors. Bring a lawn chair, some shade, and the whole family starting August 1st and going through Labor Day.
And on a quick side note, be praying for our group leaders over August, we do this Family Month to give them some time off and time to get refreshed and ready for the start of the school year. If you're interested in serving this year in Kids of Student Ministry, let me know!
